Bio - Jai and Satyavira

Jai Sugrim is an 800 hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher with a background in Professional Sports.  He worked as an athletic trainer and massage therapist for the New York Yankees during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, where he was awarded a Subway Series Championship Ring when the Yankees defeated the Mets in 2000. Jai has 15 years of experience working intimately with client's bodies and believes that yoga can enhance and compliment any Man's life.  He recommends starting out slowly at first, and then teaches students the power of consistent, daily practice. He is also a master of N.L.P. and Hypnosis, which makes him an extremely effective communicator.

Satyavira (Matthew Lombardo) has been teaching yoga since 2003.  He is a graduate of the Asian Classics Institute.  His classes are infused with many hilarious pop culture references yet always stay aligned with the Sacred Spiritual Texts.  He is thankful to have learned so much from his teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life, as Well as Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie Mcnally.  Matt is  an activist and blogger whose work can be found on emptyhell@blogger.com   He would love to see more men practicing at yoga studios and is excited to help pave the way in this first collaboration with  Jai. He knows the "way of the Yoga Man" and is eager to impart this wisdom gleaned from his personal Experience.
