The Uptown Jivamukti Yoga Center, located at 853 Lexington Avenue, is a rectangular 1,000 square-foot space that evokes a feeling of serenity with its calming pale walls and dark wooden floor. At the front of the room is an altar, silhouetted by a large window with western exposure. On the altar sits a large Shiva Nataraja and a colorful Ganesh. At the back of the room are the boutique and check-in desk. The boutique, decorated with a large wooden Ganesh, carries a fine selection of yoga-related products, including CDs, yoga props and videos, incense, deity statues, books, and more...
